A VERY TECHNOLOGICAL CHILDHOOD

Nowadays, we see many families whose children, between 4-6 years old, order conjurers to give them a tablet and other technological invents; this event must be analized.

Toddlers begin to use a tecnology at an early age, when they start to go to school, when they can walk or even earlier, when they interpret actions. 42% of children between 0-8 years old use devices with Internet connection; this really has to make us think and raise awareness of the current situation. Parents have a important work, because toddlers do at home any thing they want if their parents allow them to. Also, children love touching and exploring objects, so, in a tablet, they can buy and look into websites without awareness.

Everybody should use security sistems for their sons so that they can't visit websites they shouldn't enter, because the parents can't be careful all day of their offspring if these catch a movil-phone or a tablet.

The new technologies are present in all houses and coexist with us everyday, but are they necessary for toddlers?

Several years ago, we always used to see groups of children skating or riding a bicycle, playing football or just socializing. Now, children are home, playing with video games o chatting with people they won't ever see.

Finally, these children of the 21th century will always be able to use technology, but they can't recover their childhood.
